The worst things in life come free to us.

"The worst things in life come free to us."

--

My lovely friend Danii posted this on her tumblr page, and I thought that it would be pretty fun to answer these today. Let's goooo~

A. WHY MY LAST RELATIONSHIP ENDED.
So, I've never been in a relationship. On the other hand, I've been "super friends" with someone before.
What do I mean by "super friends"? Well, there was a friend of mine and we both like-liked each other for quite a while. After a month or two of our teenage hormones brewing, we decided that it'd be a good idea for us to "date". What really went down: we would hug each other in the hallway, sit next to each other at lunch, so nothing new there. We also held hands when we had to walk between campuses at the end of the day and we kissed maybe three times, mind you, by kiss I mean the kind of kiss you'd give your mom or your friend. Not the kind you'd give a "lover" (Sorry. That word always makes me laugh so so hard. I couldn't contain it, I mean.. it NEEDED to be used *rolls on floor laughing* (see what I did there?)). These little shenanigans lasted for a good six days. Now I hope you can see why I refer to this as "super friends" rather than dating. It was like a friendship with benefits with really shitty benefits that don't even count, which is why in my mind (and their's, too), we never dated.
Back to the question- two reasons, but the first one is the most correct:
1) they found someone better who they actually dated.
2) it was just so awkward..SO AWKWARD. *shudders*

B. FAVORITE BAND.
This is actually kind of difficult for me. At the moment it's two bands.. The Killers (yeah buddy. Forever and always will be one of my top favorites) and Fun. (maybe it's my new obsession talking, but I love 'em!).

C. WHO I LIKE AND WHY I LIKE THEM.
I don't like anybody right now, but I can definitely tell you about my last crush and why I liked him.
In question A I talked about my ex super friend. All of that shtuff went on during first semester of my freshman year.Second semester, I met this boy :3
We sat across from each other every single day at lunch and we may or may not have maybe held hands when we talked then.. in front of everyone. Like..no shame at all. It was awesome. Anyways, one day (about two months in) I ended up thinking "hey, this boy is magic and has a righteous personality. Now that I think about it, he's pretty cute, too." And that's when I, Miss Jess, knew that I had a crush.
Final answer - his name started with an "S" and ended with an "ean". I liked him mostly because of his personality. He cheered me up and he also could make me laugh until I was in near tears. He was cute, too, but his personality and the way he came off made him attractive. Not to mention, his hugs were the best.

D. HARDEST THING I’VE EVER BEEN THROUGH.
I have many an answer to this question, but I'll chose the most recent.
This all happened back in 2010 when my sister got sick. Long story short, she got pancreatitis and she was hospitalized for 15 days, and let me tell you, those two weeks and a day felt like an eternity. The doctors said that she was most likely going to die, but she made it through, and I'm so proud of her, even to this day. She was seventeen at the time (I think..) and the doctors were astounded by her condition, seeing as it is extremely extremely uncommon for someone of her age to get it (she wasn't a drinker or anything, either). Today is her 21st birthday, actually. Happy Birthday dear! I'm so blessed to have you as my older sister!

E. MY BEST FRIEND.
I have quite a few, actually. When I read this question, a roster of people in my head popped out.
Answer- Kenzie (A.K.A. "new girl" from my ranty post of ranty-ness a year or two ago. Click here)

F. MY FAVOURITE MOVIE.
This is very difficult for me to answer, seeing as I don't often watch movies. Rocky Horror Picture Show maybe? Or perhaps The Nightmare Before Christmas? If I could chose a musical, I'd chose A Very Potter Musical or Holy Musical B@man by StarKidPotter on youtube. One day, I'll have an answer for you. Instead, I shall list off the last three books I've read!

  • Fifty Shames of Earl Grey by Fanny Merkin, A.K.A. Andrew Shaffer

Twas a parody of Fifty Shades of Grey, and since I haven't read that book, it was funny but it wasn't as great as it probably was

  • The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Definitely an amazing book! I will probably end up rereading it sometime (I NEVER reread books, don't ask me why). It definitely made me think and that's what I liked about it. I highly suggest it!

  • The Fault in our Stars by John Green
Oh. My. Greatgollygoodness. This book. This book makes my feels go haywire and I can't put it down. Right now I'm in the middle of it somewhere and thanks to school, I haven't read it in a week or so. It's a shame, really, because I just want to finish it and know what happens. I want to learn more about the characters. I want to know what happens to Hazel and Augustus and the Tulip man. This book is a must read in my eyes.

G. SEXUAL ORIENTATION.
Tried and true, I am straight. What do I mean by tried and true? That first story..the one from question A? Yeah..that was about another girl.
Final verdict: I'm straight. Trust me.

H. DO I SMOKE/DRINK?
Smoke, no. Drink, on occasion I'll have a few sips or something, but nothing major.

I. HAVE ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCINGS?
Tattoos, no. Probably someday. Piercings, ten total, all on my ears.

J. WHAT I WANT TO BE WHEN I GET OLDER.
Something in the field of neuroscience, hopefully.

K. RELATIONSHIP WITH MY PARENTS.
On a scale of one to ten, one being distant and never talking and ten being as close as two peas in a pod, I'd say around a seven or so.

L. ONE OF MY INSECURITIES.
I can't dance xD
No, really. I can't dance. At all. I can try, but that usually ends up with me tripping or hurting someone. I need to learn one of these days, really.

M. VIRGIN OR NOT?
Playing for the V team! Woo!
Yeah, I'm a virgin.

N. FAVOURITE PLACE TO SHOP AT?
Wherever I am at the time. I don't have a favorite shop or anything.. I just go where I want or need to go and for that brief stretch of time, that place is my haven.

O. MY EYE COLOUR.
Green :3
Some days it is a dark hazel, others it is green. I'm leaning more towards green, just because most days they are pretty green.

P. WHY I HATE SCHOOL.
Some people there can be real dickheads sometimes. Seriously.
Overall, I just don't like the cliquey-ness of it all. But what I dislike even more are how mean some people can be. Yeah, I've been beaten up before at school. It's not fun, but I'd prefer that to people talking smack about you, especially when they haven't even spoken a single word to you.

Q. RELATIONSHIP STATUS AS OF RIGHT NOW.
As single as a single person can get. No super friends, I promise. NEVER AGAIN.

R. FAVOURITE SONG AT THE MOMENT.
Top four!

  • The A Team by Ed Sheeran (which is where the title of this post comes from)
  • You Need Me, I Don't Need You by Ed Sheeran
  • Feel So Close by Calvin Harris. That song gets me PUMPED. No clue why, though.
  • The Chase by Illy

S. A RANDOM FACT ABOUT MYSELF.
I have an AMAZING memory.
I can remember my mom changing my diaper one time in my old house. She threw the changing mat down at the bottom of our stairwell and changed me. The bottom side of the mat was black and I think it was quilted looking. The front side had bears on it, I believe. My parents get super freaked out when they're talking to my older siblings or grandparents about me when I was little and I cut in with exact details from the story.

T. AGE I GET MISTAKEN FOR.
18-20.. then again my older sister (the one I mentioned earlier, question D) apparently looks like my twin despite our five year age gap, so I'm guessing that plays a good part in it, too..

U. WHERE I WANT TO BE RIGHT NOW.
Not at home like I am. Probably at a friends house just hanging out, or maybe sitting around a bonfire and playing games.

V. LAST TIME I CRIED.
Yesterday. It was just a bad day.

W. CONCERTS I’VE BEEN TO.

  • Jonas Brothers

HEY. Quit giggling, I was in fourth grade! Twas at Summerfest with my mommy and I got a shirt.

  • Story Of The Year/Flyleaf

Met both bands, I was in eighth grade and it was for my birthday. Twas in the basement of The Rave/Eagles Ballroom with my oldest brother and my sister. I got a SOTY hoodie

  • Dirty Work Tour, A.K.A. Before You Exit/Summer Set/Hey Monday/Yellowcard/All Time Low (in that order I believe. I missed BYE and SS)

April of my eighth grade year. I ended up meeting Yellowcard. Twas IN the Eagles Ballroom. I was with some friends and I got an ATL shirt and a HM bracelet

  • Warped Tour 2011

I went with my sister. We sat down for Relient K, The Ready Set, and some other bands I didn't know. We also saw the first song of I Set My Friends On Fire (they sang "But the NUNS are watching"). I got a pack of RK stickers and a TRS bracelet

  • Panic! At the Disco/Sunderland/Plain White T's/Fitz and the Tantrums

Charter Stage Center battle of the bands night. Le concert was free as it could get..and I mean not only were the tickets free (you just had to print them out at home), but when you walked in, they handed you free blankets (nice ones, too!) and the world was great. I was with my best friends at the time.

  • Awolnation

Summerfest 2012 with my sister

  • Hollywood Undead/Chevelle

Summerfest 2012. Same night, different stages. Saw them both with my oldest brother and I got a HU shirt

X. WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF (…)?
I have nothing that comes after IF, so I shall make some up >:D

  • ...a stranger tried to give you candy
Not accept it?
  • ...your crush came up and kissed you
Melt into the ground.
  • ...music didn't exist
Stare off into the distance.
  • ...you sneezed out blood
Laugh. Really hard. Then try to problem solve with tampons and duct tape.
  • ...you started on fire
Le sequence of events: Scream OH SHIT!!, panic, stop, drop, roll, run to my bathroom, turn on shower, jump in, cry deeply, find burn ointment, go to doctor/hospital.
  • ...you woke up and no one knew who you were
Cry. Panic. Act like a freak in front of everyone to see their reaction, give a stranger flowers.
  • ...you were a boy
Sing "If I Were A Boy" by Beyonce, pee standing up, make a girl feel like a princess (assuming I liked girls), wear huge basketball shorts.

Y. DO YOU WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE.
Yes.

Z. HOW ARE YOU?
Despite the fact that it is three a.m. right now, I am feeling pretty well, thanks for asking :)

The questions have been answered! Believe it or not, that was actually pretty fun for me to write up. If you want to answer these questions, do it! Really, I want to hear your answers! You could message me somehow, you could comment on this post, heck, you can even inbox me/"ask me something" on my tumblr page! It's BearTrain.tumblr.com

The title of this post is "the worst things in life come free to us", which, would you look at that! Is a lyric from the song The A Team by Ed Sheeran, which is a song I mentioned in question R. There is something about this song that I absolutely love, but I just can't put a finger on it. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Have a great day today!

Stall me, stall me. I'm all in.

"Stall me, stall me. I'm all in."
--
Hello, all! I'm back, yet again! I know, I know. It's been a while and I've been slacking //hides face//
Hm. Well, where shall we start? How about...why I haven't posted for practically a month. Here's my excuse (I happen to think it's a pretty good one, myself). You see, for the last three weeks or so *cough* 23 days *cough* I've had a concussion o.o yeaah. Now, let me explain. About three weeks ago I was getting into a car and hit my head. Apparently I hit it pretty hard because I haven't felt a pain that badly in my head before. LAME, right? No, I didn't get my concussion by being run over by a wild rhino, rock climbing into oblivion then slipping and falling, slaying a dragon, not even biking and falling off my bike. NOO. I had to hit my head on the frame of a car door. I've gotten tons of crap about how silly it is that I have a concussion after doing something so..so..un-epic. At least I didn't hit my head with a video game controller whilst playing Spyro..
Okay..maybe even THAT would be better. I mean, it's Spyro the purple dragon. Holy nostalgia boner!
Any who, long story short, I am supposed to be at school right now, but my doctor told me that she didn't want me there for the whole day today, so I just left during lunch period. Really, I shouldn't even be on the computer right now, but really, I just needed to get out a good rant. Who's up for a long post? I know this girl is! Woo~

Rant on? I think yes. You know, I don't necessarily rant a lot..I just needed to get this out. Let us start this lovely rant with a fact..
-----
Quick fact about me: I HATE people who lie.
Really. For those types of people, my patience level is a minimum. It takes a lot to make me disappointed in someone and even more for me to dislike them. I mean, hey, I even use the "second chance" system. I give out second chances very freely and I believe that everyone (98% of the time) deserve a second chance because that's just how I am. There are some people, though, that I will keep handing out second chances until they've had about four or five. That's not necessarily fair, I know, but I just can't help it. I keep hoping that these people will change, and most of the time, they don't . Sometimes I lie, too, so what makes me so indifferent to the system? Nothing, really. It all depends on how big the offence is. I will occasionally lie to my family or friends if I had a bad day to keep them from worrying, but very rarely do I let it get past that limit. For some people, that's enough to make them mad. For others, it's just a slight bump in the road. For me, I hate it when people lie about who they are. I don't even know how to go about what I want to say next. I'll keep this short and sweet. If you are going to promise something, keep your promises. If you are going to tell someone one story, make sure it's the right, true one. If it isn't, well, stick to the story you told them and don't just HOPE that they won't find out, don't LET them find out. That's all I am going to say. And if this person that you lied to was gracious enough to give you a second chance, don't blow it. If you get a third chance, you're lucky, and if you get a fourth..fifth..sixth..etc. chance, why are you still around? Your life lines are running out. Pull yourself together, and don't let this happen again. Sorry. I just needed to get this out.
//rant over.

Bonus fact: I love to read.
At the moment, I am reading The Hunger Games and I love it! Yeah, I'm a high-schooler and I'm reading The Hunger Games (Catching Fire, actually. I finished book one a few days ago ^.^), which apparently almost everyone read in middle school. Oops haha so, I may be a little late on reading this series, but I LOVE IT. Most definitely a group of friends and I are going to all go see the movie on March 23rd. It'll be FAB-U-LOUS! I'm extremely excited, and I hope that the movie does the book justice! The only part I don't like about this series from my expericene is how whenever you tell someone you're reading this series, first thing they say is "Team Peeta or Gale?". When this question arises, I just list a bunch of pros and cons about each boy and leave the questioner confused because I never REALLY game them an answer >:D

You HAVE to read these books if you haven't yet. AHH. SO GOOD.

I very highly suggest picking up these books and reading them if you haven't yet. I mean, I like them :)

The title of this post is "Stall me, stall me. I'm all in", which is a lyric from the lovely Panic! At The Disco song "Stall me". This song just kind of popped up on shuffle on my iPod and..well, take a listen. I like it(:

I love me some Panic! At The Disco. Quite honestly, though, if I HAD to pick a favorite album of theirs, I must say that I like Pretty Odd the best. Don't ask me why, though. I just do :)

I really hope that each and everyone of you have a great day! Let's make it count!

Sono Te Hanasanai De

Sono te hanasanaide hanasanaide. Don't let go of that hand.
--
Hey de ho der! I'm back! :)
Adventures in high school, anyone? I think YES.
So, as many of you may already know, I started high school this year! Yes, I am a stupid freshman. And yes, I'm loving every second of it. I've noticed that since school started back in September, I've changed a whole lot, and in many different aspects, too. I mean, I've matured a lot (or should I say "I've matured, Alot"? I hope you all get the reference by now..) and I've changed quite a bit. Needless to say, I still have a very childish personality..one that I don't plan on giving up any time soon. I decided to come back to this blog and change it up a little bit. Hey. You're still getting the pointless posts and everything, don't worry about that, but among that, I hope you actually gain some insight from these silly rants and raves. I'll write for all of you about high school some other day. I have some interesting things to share haha.
-----
Quick fact about me: Starting back in September of 2011, I started watching anime..and I freaking love it.
I've actually finished four animes (six if you include sequels) in that time and I'm working on my fifth. So far I've completed Junjou Romantica, Junjou Romantica II, Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji, Death Note, Black Butler II/Kuroshitsuji II, and Loveless in that order. I would have watched the two Kuroshithuji seasons back to back, but alas I wasn't aware that there was a second season, and quite honestly, I almost wet myself when I found out that there was. Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji is my favorite anime. I highly suggest watching it. It's funny but has a darkness to it at the same time. Not to mention, the art is gorgeous and the characters...well, they are something else xD Currently I am working on Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro (episode three, yo!). I heard that it was like Black Butler in some aspects and that alone made me jump right onto the fandom train. CHOO CHOO! Oh! And as for Junjou, I cosplayed Shinobu with some friends for Halloween. It was extremely fun :3
Along with watching animes came reading fanfictions. Now, it doesn't work like that for everyone, but it sure did for me. At first, I was very skeptical. I assumed that all fanfics were dirty, but alas! Not all are. In fact, not many are, at all. You can read them about drama, mystery, horror, romance, humor, anything, really. It's crazy. Crazy amazing! :)

The title of this post is "sono te hanasanai de" which translates to "don't let go of that hand". That is a lyric from the song "Kimi=Hana" by Pigstar. It's actually the opening of the anime Junjou Romantica..and here it is for you all:

I decided to only post the theme song edit, not the full song. If you wanna hear the full version, look it up! I dare ya >:D

Have a fantastic day!
